Former Arsenal and Everton striker Kevin Campbell has died at the age of 54.

The news was confirmed by his son Tyrese on social media.

Campbell was a key member of the Arsenal side that won the old First Division title in 1990-91, scoring nine goals in 20 appearances.

He also played for Tottenham, West Brom and Leicester before joining Everton in 1999, where he helped the club avoid relegation from the Premier League.

Campbell won one cap for England in 1992 and was a member of the England squad that reached the semi-finals of the 1990 World Cup.

After retiring from playing, Campbell worked as a pundit and coach.
